Cooler than normal temperatures throughout the ripening season resulted in a long ripening period on the vine, allowing the grapes to develop exceptional flavor.
This rich blend of white grapes was grown at Michel-Schlumberger’s estate vineyards.
The grapes were picked in the cool mornings and immediately pressed. The Viognier was fermented in French oak barrels to add roundness and richness to the palate, and the Chardonnay was fermented in stainless tank at cool temperatures to completely retain its bright fruit essence. The wine was aged for 4 months in neutral French oak barrels, and stainless tank.
