Maison Rouge, our “house red,” is layered with bright fruit flavors of cherry, red raspberry and the distinctive terroir that distinguish our fine varietal wines. Always an easy enhancement for casual fare, it’s the perfect wine to enjoy among friends.
This rich, full-flavored Maison Rouge is made from exceptional vineyards located in Dry Creek Valley (52%), Alexander Valley (40%), Sonoma Valley (6%) and Knights Valley (2%).
Fermentation: The grapes were crushed into small fermenters. After cold-soaking to extract rich color, the must fermented on the skins for two weeks to obtain a richly extracted wine.
Cooperage / Aging: The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels.
