Grown in the white sand soil and cool marine climate of the Santa Rita Hills, these grapes attain an amazing depth of flavor. Wonderful aromas of fresh blueberry and raspberry follow through in a rich palate and elegant finish.
Lush blueberry, cherry and raspberry aromas, rich texture and elegant finish. Pairs with grilled salmon, baked mushroom dishes and roast duck.
Santa Rita Hills is a transverse mountain range along the Pacific Ocean. This unique landscape allows the marine air to flow directly into the valley (with no hills in the way), keeping the vines covered with very cool temperatures during the ripening season. Zotovich Vineyard (113 and 114 clones) is close to the ocean with white beach sand soil, and produces grapes with rich, bright perfume-like Pinot Noir flavor. Sebastiano Vineyard (“Swan” clone), located up in the hills at the northeast edge of the Santa Rita Hills, provides fruit with generous amounts of rich texture and complex flavor.
