The Syrah and Grenache grapes grown on our steep hillside vineyards above Wine Creek combine to create a wonderful complement of rich structure and dense layers of fruit flavor.
The Grenache and Syrah grapes used for this Vin Ruisseau blend are grown on steep and terraced hillside blocks overlooking Wine Creek at the northeast corner of our Benchland Estate.
Harvest: Sep 14th to 29th, 2015
Fermentation: The grapes were crushed into small fermenters. After cold-soaking for three days to extract rich color, the must fermented on the skins for three weeks to obtain a richly extracted wine.
Cooperage / Aging: Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
