Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (40% new).
The grapes were crushed into small fermenters. After cold-soaking for three days to extract rich color, the must fermented on the skins for three weeks to obtain a richly extracted wine.
Dark Ruby in color with rich aromas of black currant, plum and chocolate. On the palate, this Cabernet is elegant, structrued and balanced with layers of black currant, blackberry and plum.
Our estate’s large diversity of soil types, clone selections and micro-climates results in a rich and complex palette of wonderful flavors from the grapes grown here. This Quatrefoil Cabernet is crafted from a wide selection of the finest lots made from our mountain-top and benchland vineyards.
