Viognier 2020 Dry Creek Valley
Viognier grapes from our small hillside block are ripenened to perfection to produce a wine with opulent tropical fruit character.
Dry Creek Valley
Average brix: 26.2
Barrel fermented and aged 6 months in neutral French oak barrels.
The grapes were picked in the cool morning and immediately pressed. After settling, the clear juice was racked into barrels and fermented at a cool temperature to retain fresh fruit flavors.
A color of golden straw, this Viognier is filled with aromas of fresh wildflower and peach and has a full, rich finish.
The vigor-limiting rootstock and limited irrigation on our small hillside block of Viognier yield intense fruit flavors from smaller berries. These grapes were harvested when they were very ripe to create a very full and richly textured wine.
Food Pairing Notes
This Viognier is a wonderful complement to lobster, Thai mango salad and halibut with pineapple salsa.

When my dear friend comes over for a visit this is one we like to share. The Viognier has the nicest blend of sweetness and tartness that give it that full finish we love so much
