Our vineyard lies in the western hillsides above the upper reach of the Dry Creek Valley. Benchland and mountaintop soils combine with vigor-limiting root-stock and limited irrigation to yield intense fruit flavors from smaller berries.
This Deux Terres is created from a selection of the very finest lots made from our mountain-top and benchland vineyards.
This Merlot is made from a blend of the finest blocks of our benchland vineyards. The variety of soils and clones (181, 347, 348) gives this wine depth and complexity. A small amount of our estate-grown Bordeaux varietals is blended in to highlight the structure and classic Merlot flavors of this wine.
Vin de Coteaux, our "wine of the hillsides," is a richly textured blend made from the distinctively flavorful red grapes grown on the hillside blocks of our estate vineyard.
Michel-Schlumberger extra dry sparkling wine is crafted from grapes grown at our Benchland Estate Vineyard in Sonoma County. This sparkling wine was produced by inducing in-bottle secondary fermentation and a minimum of 12 months of aging using the traditional methode champenoise to create the tiny bubbles and complex flavors. It will continue to develop as it ages.
Viognier grapes from our small hillside block are ripenened to perfection to produce a wine with opulent tropical fruit character.
