These grapes are from a hillside vineyard above the upper reach of the Dry Creek Valley.
Harvest: Average brix: 25.8
Fermentation: The grapes were picked in the cool mornings and immediately pressed. After settling, the clear juice was racked into barrels and fermented at a cool temperature to retain fresh fruit flavors while gaining roundness during barrel fermentation. 50% malo-lactic fermentation.
Cooperage / Aging: The “Reserve” wine was aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, resulting in an exceptionally soft round finish
