These grapes were grown in the shallow volcanic soils of a mountaintop vineyard in the Spring Mountain District of Napa Valley.
Fermentation: The grapes were crushed into small fermenters. After cold-soaking to extract rich color, the must fermented for two weeks to fully develop a rich mouthfeel and palate. After fermentation, the wine was gently pressed out, settled, and racked into barrels.
