An exquisite blend crafted from a selection of grapes grown in the diverse soils and mico-climates within our estate's benchland and mountain vineyards, Quatrefoil is an elegant and complex wine that eloquently expresses the terrior of Michel-Schlumberger.
The Vineyard: Our estate’s large diversity of soil types, clone selections and micro-climates results in a rich and complex palette of wonderful flavors from the grapes grown here. This Quatrefoil Cabernet is crafted from a wide selection of the finest lots made from our mountain-top and benchland vineyards.
Harvest: Oct 18th to 25th, 2018
Fermentation: The grapes were crushed into small fermenters. After cold-soaking for three days to extract rich color, the must fermented on the skins for three weeks to obtain a richly extracted wine.
Cooperage / Aging: The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (40% new).
