Syrah 2013 La Source

Syrah 2013 La Source

Michel-Schlumberger is "La Source" for some of the most glorious Syrah in California. Meticulous farming, focused hands-on winemaking and one of the most precious spots on earth all come together to make "La Source" a great example of fine Syrah. In our tightly-spaced vineyards on the steep slopes of western Dry Creek Valley, grapes ripen gradually, developing rich, ripe fruit aromas of flavors.

Vineyard Notes

This "La Source" Syrah is a blend of our mountaintop block of clone 470 Syrah, which has very dark color and complex structure, and our benchland block of Estrella River clone Syrah, which has rich fruit flavor and full roundness.  A small amount of our mountain-top block of Cabernet Sauvignon is added  to complement the structure of this wine.
